The Ash lamp is suitable for the home, but also for the office or study. It will please both women and men who can appreciate its design, quality handmade work and warm, warming lighting.
The root of the tree from which this lamp is made was hidden deep in the Dúbrava forest. Coincidence-coincidence allowed us to see it and move it with great anticipation to our workshop, thus surprising us. After working the root, we found beautiful, well-preserved, interestingly shaped wood, which we worked, polished, and treated with beeswax. We placed this natural element in a black metal frame while embedding it in a concrete base. We matched the lamp at the end with an elegant grey shade to match the colours and let the light through nicely.

Ash wood is rare. It is durable, rigid and elastic. Long ago it was used to make spears, arrows and other weapons. In the past, peasants fed ash leaves to cattle. They were convinced that it had healing properties and explained this by the fact that the animals were never sick. Extracts from the leaves and seeds were used in folk medicine to cure rheumatism and gout. The Celts even attributed to the ash tree a special power in summoning rain and in taming the destructive power of water.
